A large proportion of men are now embarking on cosmetic surgery. A popular type of procedure amongst men this year are non-surgical procedures. The main player in this sector for men is definitely botox.
New research taken by The Harley Medical Group claim that over 5,000 men in their 40's and 50's, have visited their clinics within the last six months because they want to appear younger. They also revealed that there has been a 57% rise in the number of men embarking on botox procedure's.
Experts have now recognised the fact that these men are getting married more then once, and often then not, want to refresh their appearance as they start a new life with a new loved one.
The Harley Medical Group Director, Liz Dale, spoke to the Press Association; "Dubbed the Sarkozy syndrome or Douglas effect, referring to a second marriage with a younger woman whether they have one, two or more decades between them, surgeons are witnessing these patients citing their partner's youthful appearance as their motivation to investigate surgical and non surgical rejuvenation procedures."
Liz ale also went on to state that it is becoming more and more popular for men in their 40's and 50's to embark on more surgical type surgery such as Eyelid or face lift surgery.
