Cheaper laser eye surgery

 

Laser eye surgery is quickly becoming one of the most cheapest surgery procedure's in the UK. It is also becoming one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures.

Figures taken earlier in 2008 show that there has been an 80% decline in the cost of laser eye surgery for people, mainly seen with surgery procedures for the shortsighted. An eye laser surgery expert has recently revealed that there is now a huge degree of variation in treatment costs for Lasik eye surgery.

A medical director at Focus Laser Vision in London, claims that the price for laser eye surgery tends to vary between £300 and £2,500 per eye for the average short sighted person.

Medical Director Dr Allamby said that Lasik eye surgery should be affordable for everyone and stated: "The difference in laser eye surgery is no longer the level of expertise, but is now the level of price. "
